This is the complete list of cookies and browser storage this website uses. It's short on purpose — we like small things.
Strictly necessary & preferences

theme(local storage) — remembers your light/dark/system theme choice. Set only when you use the theme toggle; never sent anywhere. - Authentication storage — when you log in or sign up, Supabase (our authentication provider) stores session tokens in your browser so you stay signed in. Only relevant on pages with login functionality and in the app at app.picorank.com.
Analytics & advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site, and Google Ads conversion
measurement to know whether our (small) advertising budget does anything. These set Google
cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (typically kept up to ~13 months) and
use of them means some visit data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) is
processed by Google. We don't run any other trackers, and we never sell visitor data.
Opting out
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site works fine without them; you'll only lose the theme memory and stay-signed-in convenience.
- Use Google's own Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Most browsers' private/incognito mode discards all of the above at the end of the session.
